Read about the band HERE...
You Give Me Fever stars the sensational Leisa Way, (star of Sweet Dreams & Rhinestone Cowgirl), and celebrates the music of Peggy Lee and the Big Band Era, with a marvellous live band! From her start with the Benny Goodman Orchestra, Peggy Lee dominated the music world in the 40's, conquered movies in the 50's and was an Academy Award nominee. She co-wrote her signature song, "Fever", collaborating with artists such as Duke Ellington, Quincy Jones, Harold Arlen, and Johnny Mercer. Her hits include It's a Good Day, Manana, and the score to the Disney movie "The Lady and The Tramp". Her love life was just as exciting, with Frank Sinatra, Cary Grant, Quincy Jones, Robert Preston, Paul McCartney, and Bing Crosby all falling at her feet. McCartney wrote her a song, and the Beatles covered Peggy's tunes. She was the inspiration for The Muppets "Miss Piggy", had the margarita named for her, and after all these years, Peggy Lee is a true legend ... who still gives us ... FEVER!!!
